Rainy days and greenware...........

It’s raining in Sedona this weekend. Nope, I’m not complaining. Rain is always welcome in this dry climate. But, I have a lot of 1/2 dry greenware that I must bisque fire by no later than Tuesday in preparation for the fall open studio show 2 weekends from now. The humidity is slowing down the process. And I need all the time I can get for the slow process of glazing everything. As Bob Marley would say……….”Don’t worry. Be happy”. And I am. I have made some cool new things for the show and am so excited to complete them. I love the Open Studio Tours. I share my space with hubby Paul and his amazing photography, Patty, an incredible jewelry designer, and Eric, the “mountain man-leather man”. We have a great time together, and with all of our hopeful customers over the 3 day event. So for now, all I can do is daydream about how I am going to glaze some of these new pieces. Certainly with some of the new glazes I am also introducing this show! So exciting!
